Mabuchi Motor Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Matsudo City, Chiba Prefecture, Representative Director President & COO: Shinichi TANIGUCHI) has released "Mabuchi Motor Integrated Report 2022".
We have been issuing the Integrated Report in order to provide all of our stakeholders, including shareholders, investors, customers, business partners, and local communities, with an understanding of our management principle, our value creation process from the past to the future, and our efforts to contribute to a sustainable society.
Main Points of "Mabuchi Motor Integrated Report 2022
- In the CEO message, we explain our management policy, strategy, and competitiveness from a long-term perspective, which will realize sustainable corporate value enhancement based on our management principle.
- In the COO interview, in addition to the progress of the Mid-Term Management Plan, we explain our growth strategy focusing on our initiatives in the 3 M fields "Mobility, Machinery, and Medical," and how we are responding to medium- and long-term business opportunities and risks due to changes in the environment. In addition, we have included a new Business Overview page to enhance the status of initiatives and financial disclosures for each of our businesses.
- The report describes in detail our basic approach to "Human Capital," which we regard as the most important management resource for achieving sustainable growth, the basic concept, human resource development policy and specific systems and measures, and efforts to improve employee engagement.
- In order to highlight the link between our efforts to address sustainability issues and enhance corporate value, we describe the progress of our Mid-Term Sustainability Targets and each KPI. In addition, the environmental initiatives are described more quantitatively and concretely in terms of the contribution to the reduction of environmental impact through our products and business activities.
- In the Outside Directors' Message, the outside directors who chair the Nomination Committee and Compensation Committee discuss the Company's management policy, discussions at the Board of Directors and committees on recent initiatives including M&A, and the role played by outside directors. The report also includes messages from the two outside directors appointed in March 2023. The contents of this report are intended to provide you with a better understanding of the effectiveness of outside directors and the Company's highly transparent governance structure.
