Winding Specifications

It's the Winding Specifications that affect motor performances greatly.
Changing the number of turns per slot or the diameter of magnet wire produces results different from each other.

In the case of changing the number of turns per slot

Increased number of turns per slot results in a drop in speed in direct proportion.

In the case of changing the diameter of magnet wire

The increased diameter of magnet wire results in increasing stall torque and stall current in inverse proportion of the wire diameter raised to the second power.
(Note: however, that these inversely proportional changes are not obtainable any more beyond a certain limit range. )

Conditions where the number of turns per slot is changed for the same model motor

When you change the number of turns per slot for the same model motor in practice, the values of cross-sectional area of wire per slot must be close to each other.
Cross-sectional area of wire = φ2 (diameter of magnet wire) × n (number of turns per slot)
