Major initiatives

We were certified as "The Certified Health and Productivity Management Organization Recognition Program (Large Enterprise Category)"

Mabuchi Motor has been certified as "2021 Certified Health & Productivity Management Outstanding Organizations Recognition Program (Large Enterprise Category)" by Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and Nippon Kenko Kaigi on March 4, 2021.
This program endeavors to these outstanding enterprises engaged in efforts to advance Health and Productivity Management.
We advocate to "Conduct corporate activity which preserves the earth's environment and protect human health" in our Management Guidelines. Therefore, we respect the basic rights of our employees, including our overseas bases, and are actively working to create a workplace where every employee can play an active part in a healthy and safe manner.
Mabuchi Group will continue to give top priority to the health and safety of our stakeholders including employees and contribute to society.

Mental health survey, assignment of in-house counselor, holding various health lectures

At the headquarters, we have been conducting mental health surveys for more than 20 years, setting up in-house counselors and holding “mental health seminars”. In September 2019, we invited a doctor from the Department of Breast Surgery at Shin Tokyo Hospital to hold a lecture entitled "Profit/Disadvantage in Breast Cancer Screening and Hereditary Breast Cancer". In addition, we invited a teacher of NAS Sports Gym sports instructor to hold a "cigarette/alcohol course" to create an opportunity for health management such as smoking cessation, smoke reduction, and alcohol reduction for all employees and their families. He also taught me the law and simple stretching. Since January 2020, the head office has completely banned smoking on the company premises.

Health Promotion Day

To prevent and improve employees' lifestyle-related diseases, we have set "Health Promotion Day" four times a month and are implementing the following activities.

  • Take sufficient rest both physically and mentally (on health promotion day, encourage leaving by 17:00)
  • Improve your eating habits with well-balanced menus
  • Health promotion starting from walking (only one elevator at the head office is in operation to promote the use of stairs)
  • Promotion of habits on non-smoking days and prohibition days . etc.
